Ambush!

The first trumpet lesson was today and he is totally hooked. The teacher, a friend of Betsy's, taught Eddie how to handle and adjust the trumpet, how to breathe correctly, how to hold the trumpet with good posture, and how to play four notes consistently. They listened to this together...he said that "the first rule is always try to know in your head what you want it to sound like before you begin to play."

When we got home, Eddie showed off what he learned, and was just starting to showboat when he got popped with a Nerf dart.

So the boys wanted it to be Billy's turn to be in a video getting shot with a dart. Eddie missed the first shot. 

The third shot found its mark...my forehead. Ouch!
