In a nutshell, we didn't sleep. I cannot sleep sitting up on a plane. Eddie didn't sleep either, but he fared much better in terms of not sinking. 

When we got to the airport yesterday, we took a water taxi to Lido to check into our hotel. I wrote down lots of the things that the tour guide said, but I need to wait until I have a keyboard or it's going to take many hours.

Will just say this: Venice is information overload.

We leave on Wednesday, so I have finally transitioned from "making a list" to "executing actions and gathering items on the list."

New Mexico Trip, Days 5-8

We started Wednesday with a hike in Eagle Nest, then we took a drive all the way around the Enchanted Circle, back to Angel Fire.

On Thursday, we hiked the Elliott Barker trail. 

Then we had pasta with turkey sauce, Brussels sprouts, and pumpkin pie.
