January

Testing the new fishing poles. The fish weren't biting, but Eddie chattered constantly: "Minnows keep eating my bait." "The fish have evolved and are too smart." "We won't catch any tuna here, but maybe we'll catch some salmon or some trout."

Mom has picked up some skills from teaching gas laws.

Indian food is delicious! Billy ate two plates of saag paneer with rice.

 Helicopter beanie.
Eddie insisted that he wanted to go swimming.
 Hiking at Bull Creek.

We went to see a friend's model train set-up. My favorite item was this National Lampoon's Vacation station wagon, complete with corpse on the roof.

We were in Strait Music, and the clerks loaned Eddie and Billy mouthpieces for the plastic trumpets and showed them how to buzz in order to make a sound.
It's lots of fun when an older kid decides to play in the bouncy house with the littler kids. (YouTube says the song that's playing in the background is copyrighted, so you may have to watch an ad. Sorry.)
